GEOTECHNICAL INSTRUMENTATION

Geotechnical instrumentation has become an important part of the geotechnical engineering profession. Geotechnical instrumentation is typically needed for monitoring soil response to imposed loads to measure total and differential settlement, time rate of settlement, ground water response, and similar items to verify actual performance during construction compared to design parameters. GREGEO is experienced in installation and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation such as vibrating-wire liquid-filled settlement cells, vibrating wire piezometers, slope inclinometers, and open-standpipe piezometers. We have in-house equipment for taking data readings from field instrumentation and specialized software for reducing the readings to report-quality formats. GREGEO has installed and monitored hundreds of geotechnical instruments on a variety of projects in the Central United States.
